Job Description:
We are recruiting professional interpreters for the Zaghawa Interpreter Job in Bathgate. This freelance role is designed for linguists fluent in Zaghawa and English, providing interpretation services in healthcare, legal, educational, and community sectors. As a Zaghawa interpreter in Bathgate, you will help clients understand critical information, communicate effectively, and access essential services without language barriers.
Assignments include hospital consultations, court hearings, school meetings, and social service appointments. Requirements:
• Fluent in Zaghawa and English
• Recognised interpreting qualifications such as DPSI, CI, NRPSI, or equivalent
• Enhanced DBS certificate
• Up-to-date CV and proof of identity
• Two professional references
• Prior experience in healthcare, legal, or educational interpreting preferred
