Job Description:
We are recruiting professional interpreters for the Tigrinya Interpreter Job in Porthmadog. This freelance opportunity is designed for linguists fluent in Tigrinya and English, offering interpretation services in healthcare, legal, educational, and community sectors. As a Tigrinya interpreter in Porthmadog, you will ensure clients understand critical information, communicate effectively, and access services without language barriers.
Assignments may include hospital consultations, court hearings, school meetings, and social service appointments. Requirements:
• Fluent in Tigrinya and English
• Recognised interpreting qualifications such as DPSI, CI, NRPSI, or equivalent
• Enhanced DBS certificate
• Up-to-date CV and proof of identity
• Two professional references
• Prior experience in healthcare, legal, or educational interpreting preferred
