Job Description:
We are recruiting experienced interpreters for the Rwanda Interpreter Job in Derbyshire. This freelance opportunity is suitable for linguists fluent in Rwanda and English, offering interpretation services in healthcare, legal, educational, and community sectors. As a Rwanda interpreter in Derbyshire, you will help clients communicate effectively, understand vital information, and access services without language barriers.
Assignments may include hospital consultations, court hearings, school meetings, and social service appointments. Each assignment provides professional development opportunities and allows interpreters to make a meaningful contribution to the community. Requirements:
• Fluent in Rwanda and English
• Recognised interpreting qualifications (DPSI, CI, NRPSI, or equivalent)
• Enhanced DBS certificate
• Up-to-date CV and proof of identity
• Two professional references
• Prior experience in healthcare, legal, or educational interpreting preferred
Scope of Work:
• Interpret in healthcare, legal, educational, and community settings
• Deliver accurate, impartial, and culturally appropriate interpretation
• Provide services face-to-face, via video, or by telephone
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• Support clients and professionals in sensitive or complex situations
