Job Description:
We are recruiting qualified interpreters for the Japanese Interpreter Job in Chatham. If you are fluent in Japanese and English, you will have the opportunity to provide professional interpreting services that help individuals fully access healthcare, legal, educational, and community services. As a Japanese interpreter in Chatham, you will facilitate accurate communication and bridge the gap between clients and professionals, ensuring clarity and understanding in every interaction.

Requirements:
• Fluent in Japanese and English
• Recognised interpreting qualification such as DPSI, CI, or NRPSI
• Enhanced DBS certificate
• Up-to-date CV and proof of identity
• Two professional references
• Experience in healthcare, legal, or educational interpreting preferred
Scope of Work:
• Interpret across healthcare, legal, educational, and community sectors
• Provide impartial, accurate, and culturally appropriate interpretation
• Deliver assignments face-to-face, by video, or via telephone
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• Assist clients and professionals during sensitive or complex interactions
